What we collect

When you create an account we store your email address and the nickname you choose. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, your name and a permanent account identifier from Google — nothing else. We never see or receive your Google password.

When you play we store your choice, your prediction, and how long you took to decide, measured on our server in milliseconds. That timing is part of the game: it decides your place.

How we count visits

We count daily visits by link source. If you create an account, we keep the first source with it so we can compare how many players vote, finish a prediction and return. A short signed marker in our own page addresses carries that source while you browse; we add no tracking cookie.

For the optional guest practice round, we temporarily keep a random practice link, its source, whether it was started or won, and whether a new account was made after that win. This lets us count each step once even if you retry or reload. The temporary record contains no name, email, IP address or browser fingerprint and is removed after seven days; daily totals remain. Practice answers never enter a live contest.

Why we need it

Your email identifies your account and lets you return to your result. Your nickname is shown in rankings. Your answers form the actual result of each contest — without them there is no game.

Emails about your account

Account access and contest emails are paused with the test run. Existing account information remains stored. For account or privacy requests, email privacy@onemorepeek.com.

News by email (optional)

News emails are paused. If you subscribed before the break, you can use the unsubscribe link in an earlier email or write to privacy@onemorepeek.com. We keep the record of your original choice and any unsubscribe request.

Browser alerts (optional)

Contest browser alerts are paused. Existing subscriptions remain stored with your account until you request deletion; you can also revoke this site's permission in your browser settings.

Background music

Music playback is unavailable while the game is paused. Any saved music preference remains with your account.

What other people see

Other players see your nickname, your place, your points and your decision time in rankings. Your email address is never shown to anyone.

Later we plan to let you add links to your own social profiles. That will be optional, you will choose what to add, everyone will be able to see it, and you will be able to remove it at any time. We will update this page before that ships.

Your agreement

You accept this policy and the Terms when you create an account — either by ticking the box on the sign-up form, or by continuing with Google, where the same notice is shown next to the button. We record the date and the version you accepted. News by email and browser alerts are separate, optional choices.

To withdraw your agreement, delete your account. We do not build advertising profiles and we send nothing except the account emails above and, only if you asked for it, our news or browser alerts.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not send marketing email to anyone who did not ask for it. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. We use session and short-lived preference cookies for sign-in and site behavior.

Where it lives

Everything is stored on our own server in Europe, with an encrypted backup copy. Emails are delivered through a mail delivery provider (Resend), which sees the address and the text of each message it delivers for us. We do not copy your data to third-party analytics services.

Deleting your account

Write to privacy@onemorepeek.com from the address you registered with and we will delete your account and your answers. Contest results already published may keep an anonymous record of the vote count, because removing it would change results other people already saw.

Children

This site is not intended for children under 13.

Changes

If we start collecting something new, we change this page first and say so on the site.
